Salary: from 2.000 EUR/month, depending on skills and experience + benefits. The final offer for the selected candidate will reflect the candidate´s comprehensive assessment, skills, and past work experience.

Requirements and responsibilities
We are searching for a Test Automation Engineer to become a new valuable member of the team for our important European client with a long-lasting history in the market. Although the company was initially established with a focus on tire manufacturing, it today holds a strong position also in tire-related services, high-tech materials, and mobility experience solutions. Mobility experience is an area where Ness is supporting our client to bring high-quality and innovative solutions to their customers. What you'll do:
  • Writing, maintaining, and executing test plans incl. automated test cases based on User Acceptance Criteria
  • Development and implementation of Test automation frameworks for both functional and non-functional testing, keywords and classes needed
  • Defining and writing down step definitions to use in the process of automated test scenario creation (create high quality, maintainable, and performant code)
  • First line of defense when analyzing Test automation scenario failures from nightly runs, taking care of notifying the proper team (to fix the failure), and making sure the issues are indeed fixed
  • Collaborating with other team members on shared goal, make TA great again

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
Key skillsets:
  • Methodical and analytical thinking
  • One of the universal programming languages (Java, Python)
  • Understanding of Git
  • Other usual professional processes (E2E tests, plans, SCM, etc.)
  • API testing (REST)
  • Experience with Jira or equivalent management tool
  • Experience with TestRail or other test management and defect tracking tools
Nice to have:
  • Some experience with embedded devices
  • Previous working experience with SaaS products
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber
  • Experience with Apex and Visual Studio Code for Salesforce Test Automation
  • Knowledge of Gherkin
  • Unix or Linux OS
  • Experience with CI tooling
  • Strong presentation skills
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent
