Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality dishes.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and create exceptional menu items that emphasize seasonal and local ingredients.
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a positive and efficient working environment.
- Monitor and maintain food quality and presentation standards while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the management of food costs and effective inventory control, ensuring profit margins are achieved.
- Participate in culinary events and initiatives that enhance the reputation of Delonix Hotel Karawang.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations, implementing best practices and innovative cooking techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, upholding sanitation standards at all times.
Requirements
- Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 (two) years experience in a leadership role at a four-star hotel.
- Demonstrated culinary and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Strong understanding of financial management, food costing, and inventory control.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and practices; HACCP certification is a plus.
