The Opportunity - Executive Director, China

We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive the success of Grok’s China operations. As Executive Director, China, you will lead the commercial, operational, and cultural aspects of our China entity, ensuring we remain compliant, connected, and commercially strong in one of the most strategic markets for international education.

What You’ll Do

Lead Operational Excellence

• Monitor business health, compliance, and risk.
• Identify cost-saving and procedural improvements.
• Collaborate globally to align and adapt best practices.

Drive Financial & Administrative Oversight

• Manage HR, payroll, tax, and legal compliance.
• Lead financial planning, banking, and audits.
• Ensure strong reporting and fiscal security.

Be Our Market Expert

• Serve as Grok’s thought leader on China’s international education landscape.
• Provide strategic advice to clients and internal teams.
• Represent Grok at key events and in written insights.

Ideal candidates will have:

✔️ A bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)

✔️ Strong operational, financial, and compliance expertise

✔️ Proven leadership and relationship-building skills

✔️ Knowledge of China’s regulatory and commercial frameworks

✔️ Passion for growing people and culture

✔️ Experience in education or related sectors, with deep knowledge of the China market (desirable).
