About the opportunity:

We are working as an internal recruitment partner for an established and reputable business within the financial services sector.

We are presenting a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised Executive and Compliance Assistant to join the friendly and collaborative team based in Peterborough.

In this newly created role, you will provide high-level coordination and compliance support to the Operations Director and Financial Planner, ensuring the smooth running of daily business activities.
You will take ownership of diary coordination, communication management, and preparation of essential documentation, playing a key part in maintaining excellent operational flow.

You will also support vital compliance processes, including monitoring required actions, liaising with external compliance partners, and assisting in the distribution of updated policies.
This role would suit someone with excellent organisation and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong interest in supporting both executive operations and compliance functions.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally supporting senior leaders or working within a regulated environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple diaries and prioritise effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High attention to detail with the ability to follow established processes accurately
  • Proactive problem solver who uses initiative to complete tasks within required timelines
  • Confident working with confidential information in a professional manner
  • IT literate with good MS Office skills
  • An interest in compliance or financial services would be advantageous

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £16,000
  • 20 hours per week, ideally Monday to Friday
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • 32 days holiday (pro rata), including bank holidays when working Monday to Friday
