What you will do
As the Executive Assistant to Karat's President, you'll be the operational backbone that makes every day more efficient, focused, and impactful. This is a high-stakes support role for a U.S.-based executive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Own and manage the President’s highly complex calendar across internal, external, and personal commitments, exercising strong judgment and exceptional attention to detail to prioritize competing demands and prevent issues before they arise.
- Execute day-to-day responsibilities with a high degree of independence while consistently communicating status, updates, risks, and decisions, ensuring full visibility without the need for micromanagement.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for senior U.S.-based and global stakeholders, including enterprise clients, investors, partners, and executive assistants to C-suite leaders, representing the President and the Founders’ Office with professionalism, warmth, and credibility.
- Independently manage executive communications, including drafting, editing, and sending high-stakes correspondence that reflects strong business judgment, polished business writing standards, and appropriate tone for enterprise audiences.
- Prepare the President for meetings by partnering with internal leaders and account owners to develop clear agendas, briefing materials, and contextual background; anticipate questions, surface risks, and flag missing information in advance.
- Coordinate closely with the Chief of Staff, Executive Business Partner to the CEO, and senior leadership on initiatives requiring tactical execution and cross-functional follow-through.
- Maintain disciplined systems to track priorities, decisions, action items, and follow-ups across multiple workstreams, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and zero dropped details.
- Support the planning and execution of Product and Engineering offsites, leadership meetings, internal events, and ad-hoc gatherings.
- Apply a continuous-improvement mindset, leveraging modern productivity tools, automation, and AI thoughtfully to increase efficiency and scale executive support.
- Work primarily during Pacific Time business hours, with flexibility to support early mornings, late evenings, and international travel when required.
