Practice Excellence and Community Impact
The ideal candidate is a skilled clinician with a strong interest in community-based gastroenterology, supported by the resources and academic environment of a major teaching hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality outpatient and inpatient consultative gastroenterology care.
- Perform routine GI procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy.
- Manage a wide range of GI conditions, including GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleeding.
- Participate in a rotating inpatient coverage and call schedule.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including advanced practice providers, GI nurses, and anesthesiology support, for advanced cases and referrals.
Optional Academic Involvement:
- Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents.
- Participation in clinical quality initiatives.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited GI fellowship.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
- Strong clinical skills with a dedication to patient-centered care.
