About the Role

You will play a crucial role in creating and implementing technical solutions that support our partners and the broader Merit Circle ecosystem. For this role, we require candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a development role within the video games industry and a strong understanding of Web3 technologies. You will be responsible for creating and implementing technical solutions, troubleshooting and debugging problems, and ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and code reviews. We are on the lookout for candidates that are proficient in English, both spoken and written, and have strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain technical documentation, and employ the Beam SDK to develop tailored solutions for our partners.

Your day-to-day activities as a team-member in the Development team can include: 

• Create and implement clean, scalable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug problems throughout our application landscape.
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to communicate technical decisions and requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to assist developers and end-users.
• Ship code regularly via automated systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and manage partner relationships for critical services to the Engineering department.
• Actively work with partners to deeply understand their needs in the Web3 gaming landscape.
• Employ the Beam SDK to craft solutions tailored to the specific challenges and requirements of each partner.
• Partner with Tier 1 clients to co-develop and integrate customized solutions into their gaming infrastructures.
• Work alongside internal teams to ensure alignment of partner solutions with our overarching product strategy, incorporating client feedback and insights.
• Facilitate the sharing of insights and learnings between partners and internal teams, contributing to the evolution of the Beam SDK and its integration capabilities.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working in a development position, preferably within a web3 gaming organization. 
• Above basic knowledge of the crypto industry, NFTs, and blockchain technology, including smart contracts, and understanding their relevance and application within the gaming sector.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for clear and effective communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
• Familiarity with game development processes and the ability to integrate web3 solutions seamlessly into gaming environments.
• Experience with SDKs and API integration, ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of solutions.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web3 and gaming.
