About the role As an Events Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering high‑quality meetings and events from planning through to onsite execution. You’ll lead logistics, financial management, faculty coordination, and compliance across a wide range of international and domestic meetings—ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard. Working closely with clients, faculty, suppliers, and internal teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating seamless and engaging event experiences. What you'll do
  • Lead end-to-end event logistics for domestic and international meetings, from initial planning through to post-event reconciliation.
  • Conduct venue searches and provide recommendations aligned with client and industry guidelines.
  • Liaise with venues, congress secretariats, and suppliers to coordinate accommodation, catering, AV, transport, and related requirements.
  • Organise and conduct site visits, providing clear and comprehensive reports.
  • Oversee onsite event delivery, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, faculty, suppliers, and attendees.
  • Manage attendee logistics, including travel, transfers, itineraries, arrivals, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate faculty communications, travel bookings, agreements, briefing calls, and post-event honoraria processes.
  • Maintain strong financial control across projects, including budget development, tracking, and supplier invoice review.
  • Ensure adherence to client compliance policies, including fair market value, due diligence, and transfer-of-value reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with account teams through project planning, regular status updates, and debriefs.
  • Contribute positively to a supportive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
  • About you
  • 3–5 years’ event management experience, ideally within a medical communications or corporate environment.
  • Experienced in delivering international meetings such as advisory boards, workshops, congress activities, investigator meetings, and standalone events.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Skilled at handling challenging situations with professionalism, empathy, and solution-oriented thinking.
  • Comfortable with international travel and onsite event delivery.
  • Confident using event and virtual meeting technologies such as Cvent, Zoom, Teams, and ON24.
