The Longevity Show is a major new flagship event launching in London on 26-27 June 2026 at Tobacco Dock. The show brings together a high-energy consumer expo, headline speakers, live demos, workshops, and a dedicated industry conference focused on the fast-growing longevity economy and the future of preventative health.

The Opportunity

This is a foundational role in the Operations Team. We are looking for an Event Operations Assistant to work alongside the Operations Lead on the production and logistics of the launch edition of The Longevity Show. You will have the opportunity to work with passionate colleagues, play a pivotal role in shaping a new-to-market event, whilst helping to deliver new events in international locations for our community as we scale up the business.

From logistical management to stakeholder communication and on-site delivery you'll be a key contributor to the success of the event. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, loves problem solving under pressure and has the desire to learn and grow with one of the UK's most exciting new event platforms.

The Role

Event Operations & Delivery:

  • Support & manage event logistics as part of a project team and take responsibility for specific elements of the event
  • Assist with logistical support for up to 75 exhibitors; including management of the Exhibitor Manual, prompt responses to all exhibitor enquiries, compilation of all necessary H&S paperwork relating to exhibitor activations and onsite support during the exhibition build and breakdown
  • Coordinate the travel and accommodation requirements for between 10-20 VIP event speakers
  • Lead the planning and management of the pre-event Gala Dinner, taking ownership of all of the dinner logistics and guestlist
  • Assist with the production of detailed event running orders and staff briefs
  • Assist with the management of on site logistics from the start of the event build through to the end of the event breakdown

Budget Management:

  • Assist with the reporting of the event budget ensuring all costs are thoroughly researched and accurately recorded
  • Identify potential areas of over-spend and offer creative solutions to optimise cost efficiency without compromising on quality

Cross-Team Collaboration:

  • Contribute to creative ideas to elevate the event, enhance guest experience and establish The Longevity Show as a world-class event
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to fulfil sponsorship deliverables, the Marketing and Experience teams to enhance the attendee experience and with the Content team on the agenda timings and speaker requirements
  • Provide planning, research and onsite support as The Longevity Show expands globally

Requirements

This is a role for you if…

  • You’re a meticulous planner who has experience coordinating and project managing event operations and logistics
  • You have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining a high standard of work and excellent attention to detail
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are able to build positive relationships with various stakeholders including suppliers, partners, colleagues and VIPs
  • You’re a problem solver with a proactive attitude 
  • You’re an excellent team player who is genuinely collaborative
  • You have a passion for event operations and you pride yourself on creating memorable events which not only look good, but also run seamlessly 
  • You have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment and with a team that is rapidly expanding

Requirements

  • 1+ years proven experience as an Operations Assistant or similar role
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office and G-Suite
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • The right to work in the UK
