Located in vibrant Midtown Sacramento and rated as one of Sacramento’s Best Places to Work, Rhombus is looking for an Event Marketing Coordinator to execute and own event experiences.
Reporting to the Manager of Integrated Marketing, you’ll work closely with Sales, Channel, and Marketing to execute and measure events for Rhombus nationwide. In this role, we’re looking for a team player with superior organizational skills that loves working in a fast-paced environment and is driven by results. The ideal candidate also has strong stakeholder management skills and is excited about getting creative with our events. This exceptional event coordinator should deliver a remarkable brand experience for our customers and partners, reinforce business relations, enhance Rhombus’ image, aid business growth, and deliver events that meet objectives and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Execute and measure Rhombus’ event marketing strategy and schedule, including, but not limited to trade shows, lunch and learns, partner events, happy hours, information sessions, and more
- Manage all aspects of event marketing including, but not limited to contract negotiation, production, operations, budgets, logistics, speakers, resource management and allocation, internal and external communications, data upload, follow-up, and reporting
- Coordinate logistics, shipping procedures, and arrangements pre and post-events
- Manage incoming and outgoing tradeshow kits and swag inventory
- Research, select, negotiate, and manage vendors and services for the events we sponsor
- Assist with other field marketing activities, inbound and outbound demand generation, account-based marketing, and other marketing-related projects
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Event Marketing, preferably in B2B technology
- Skilled at organizing tradeshow conferences and/or large annual events
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for events
- Experience working with show managers and show services
- Self-motivated and quick thinker with exceptional time-management and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
- Strong communication, negotiation, and budget-management skills
