[EUC] IT Infrastructure and Systems Architect

AI overview

Take ownership of designing and standardizing IT infrastructure for a rapidly expanding medical group, ensuring a unified and secure technology foundation across multiple regions.

Project - the aim you'll have

Our client is a rapidly expanding medical group integrating facilities across multiple Polish regions. Due to this intense growth, we are seeking a dedicated IT professional ready to take full ownership of the technology landscape.

This is a critical, hands-on strategic role where you will be solely responsible for designing, building, and standardizing the entire IT infrastructure for the group.

The core mission is to establish a unified, scalable, and highly secure technology foundation. This means driving all key decisions on architecture, networking, and cloud strategy. Crucially, the role involves selecting robust, value-driven solutions that ensure compliance and efficiency while making highly effective use of the company’s technological investment.

Position - how you'll contribute

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term IT infrastructure strategy that supports rapid business expansion and operational requirements
  • Lead the full lifecycle of system deployment, from architectural blueprinting to hands-on installation of standardized networks, servers, and systems across all facilities
  • Evaluate infrastructure needs and make definitive, cost-optimized choices regarding the optimal mix of on-premise solutions versus cloud adoption
  • Select, justify, and procure appropriate, robust IT solutions, hardware, and software, emphasizing the strategic alignment, practicality, and long-term value of all chosen tools and platforms
  • Oversee the successful integration of major new platforms, including specialized medical systems
  • Take full ownership of the deployed infrastructure, ensuring its sustained security, stability, maintenance, and future scalability
  • Work directly with local IT support staff at each site to ensure smooth implementation and compliance with new standards

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Deep, practical experience in designing, deploying, and managing complex, multi-site network and server architectures
  • Proven ability to analyze requirements and determine the most effective, scalable, and cost-conscious balance between cloud solutions and on-premise systems
  • Experience selecting and implementing professional, hardware and software solutions appropriate for a growth-stage company
  • A strong background as a technical leader and individual contributor capable of direct, hands-on implementation and problem-solving
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential to influence and align diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical staff, on new standards and solutions
  • Understanding of the need for high reliability and regulatory compliance (e.g., data security) in the medical or healthcare sector
