The Mission:

You’ll be joining a growing, diverse team that’s currently disrupting the traditional way vehicles are auctioned. You’ll help foster relationships and deliver excellent outcomes with both sellers and collectors locally and internationally, developing long-lasting partnerships, whilst becoming part of the fabric of a fast-moving, innovative company.

The EU South Sales Manager will oversee the day-to-day performance of the Consignment Team across France, Italy, Belgium, and Spain, ensuring excellence throughout the entire auction process.

You will lead and support a team dedicated to the EU South territory, ensuring they are structured to deliver on regional goals and performance standards. Your focus will be on the professional development of your direct reports, coaching them to work effectively with internal teams like Marketing and Tech to get the best results for our sellers. You will also prioritise the hiring, onboarding, and training of specialists who are deeply passionate about the enthusiast car market and committed to championing the European customer.

The Gearbox:

  • Act as the daily "go-to" for Consignment Specialists for technical, valuation, and procedural questions.
  • Lead the induction of new hires onto the platform and provide ongoing mentoring to help the current team improve.
  • Conduct monthly reviews with team members to check in on key metrics and individual progress.
  • Review valuations and reserves to ensure every car is suitable and priced correctly for the platform.
  • Monitor the team's workload to ensure all customer enquiries are handled quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure the team is using Salesforce correctly and following the established sales processes.
  • Execute the FRITES growth plan, providing local market feedback to help shape marketing and product updates.
  • Research competitor pricing and market success; identify cars listed elsewhere and coordinate outbound calls for the team.
  • Assist with market-building activities, including attending events and reaching out to local dealers and collectors.
  • Provide regular reports on the FRITES territory performance to the leadership team.
  • Work with the Head of Sales and GM to share regional insights that can help improve overall performance.


The Specs (What We'll Need From You):

  • Outstanding organisational and leadership skills and experience of training and supervising new staff both face to face and remotely.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a seasoned sales  team effectively, while managing target expectations and maintaining team morale.
  • Keen interest in cars of all genres and eras.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of how the collector car market operates.
  • Impeccable communication skills with the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
  • Exposure to working and influencing senior stakeholders through data insight and geographical market knowledge 
  • Adept at negotiating terms of sale with customers.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced rapidly growing business.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
