WORKPLACE 

This role is based in Germany, with candidates located in Cologne who can work in-office at least two days per week. 

ABOUT THE ROLE   

As the EU Marketing Lead at Primal Harvest, you will serve as the strategic driver of our brand presence and performance across key European markets. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that blends strategic marketing leadership with operational execution. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing integrated, multi-channel campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth—anchored in influencer marketing, affiliate partnerships, and local market activation.

You’ll operate at the intersection of brand storytelling, digital performance, and consumer experience—leading the full spectrum of regional marketing initiatives, from social media and lifecycle marketing to product launches and community activations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

• Campaign Development: Assist with the monthly marketing campaign calendar for email, come up with concepts for the German Social Media Stories, and assist with the SMS for the European market, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand guidelines. 

• Influencers, Affiliates & Partnerships: Own the EU influencer and affiliate outreach and content development program. Additionally, you will take initiative to create, develop and execute partnerships and other marketing events, including activations, seeding and related. This includes going in person to local businesses, showing up with product, getting hyper creative with outreach, and generally being the person representing the business. 

• Brand Marketing Assets: Working under the VP of Marketing’s global marketing plan, and working with the global marketing team, develop the EU’s Primal Harvest marketing assets, including copy, images, and videos. Ensure consistency and quality in the brand's creative output across all channels. 

• Performance Monitoring: Report on and monitor KPIs for Email, SMS, Direct Mail and social media campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize performance. 

• Competitive Research: Conduct thorough competitive analysis to uncover market trends, opportunities for growth, and innovative testing methods to enhance our marketing efforts. 

• Retention Projects: Collaborate on customer retention and experience projects, working to develop initiatives that increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. 

• Brand Collaboration: Develop brand strategies to drive customer engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value. Work cross functionally to ensure compliance with brand standards and cohesion across all marketing materials. 

• Cross Team Resource Allocation and Management: Work closely with the paid, brand, organic and other teams to utilize written and graphic content assets. 

• Country Specific Planning & Liaising: Compile and maintain relevant market data around trends, transactions or acquisitions, industry regulations, buying behaviors, and related by country. Implementing efficient, market-specific tactics to drive awareness and visibility of the Primal Harvest brand. Ensure that the brand reaches consumers at the right time and place with impactful messaging. You will also keep an eye on social media and customer service complaints and highlight any issues you think need resolved. 

• New Product Development: Provide data-driven, EU specific insights to help the global product development team understand the needs, desires, expectations of the EU customer, by country. Responsibilities include providing thoroughly researched customer demographics, socioeconomic factors, market trends, and related items to identify opportunities for product expansion.  

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING   

• 3 years of experience in marketing, ideally within DTC, health and wellness, or consumer products. 

• Deep understanding of European markets, including country-specific consumer behaviors, marketing trends and regulations. 

• Deep experience managing content and campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram)—including organic social strategy, post planning, community engagement, and collaboration with paid teams for alignment on performance-driven campaigns. 

• Comfortable editing and managing site content in Shopify (e.g., product descriptions, landing pages, promotional content). 

• Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and manage EU-based influencers and affiliates; skilled at executing creative brand partnerships and in-person activations. 

• Strong copywriting, briefing, and campaign coordination skills; experience producing marketing assets and ensuring brand consistency across all customer touchpoints. 

• Comfortable using performance data to drive decisions; able to monitor KPIs and optimize email, SMS, direct mail, and social campaigns for maximum impact. 

• Resourceful, proactive, and willing to "roll up sleeves" to build brand presence in new and emerging markets. 

• Fluent/Advanced in both written and spoken English and German.

The annual base salary range for this position is €70,000 - €80,000/year. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: location, education, skills, training, and experience. This position may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
