Your mission
We are looking for you to join our Sungrow team as our new Energy Storage System technical solution Intern/Working student!
What does a solution engineer do, you might ask?
Well, this role is allowed to do the best part of our everyday work – to still the hunger for sustainable energy!
In a little more detail, this is what you will do in your day to day job:
- Managing and performing high quality technical advisory works for the pre-sale’s BESS activities
- Project manager and interfacing between engineering disciplines (ESS electric, mechanical, civil and control scheme)
- Provide technical input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility of the project and integration with other electrical or generating plants as necessary
- Review overall project conceptual design, detailed design, and design and suggest technical and design improvement for ESS projects
- Preparation and management of specifications, tendering, negotiation, and selection of battery storage system plant
Your profile
All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role?
Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have:
- Solid background in power electronics and battery technologies.
- Familiarity with renewable energy utility grid connection standards, power quality studies, and PCS dynamic performance approval processes.
- Working knowledge of PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory software.
