ESS Project Manager - Finland

Your mission

We are seeking an experienced and strategic ESS Regional Project Manager - Finland  to lead our Energy Storage Systems (ESS) business in Sungrow Europe. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring ESS projects are delivered successfully and high-level customer engagement with team leadership and is central to our expansion in a high-priority growth market. They combine organizational skills, leadership, and strategic thinking to drive results.

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage risks, assign tasks, and foster collaboration across diverse teams (commercial, service, product solution, contract & legal, finance).
  • Motivate teams to meet deadlines, manage expectations and change, and track payment milestones.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, executives, and team members, providing regular progress updates and organizing stakeholder meetings.
  • Efficiently allocate resources (manpower, tools, materials), resolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct post-project reviews, including lessons learned and performance analysis.

Your profile

  • 2-3+ years in project management leadership within energy storage, renewables, or technical infrastructure.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and collaborative skills, with proven experience in team and customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in solution-based project management and strong contract negotiation.
  • Fluency in English and Finnish (minimum C1 level) is required.
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time.
  • PMP (PMI), PRINCE2, or CAPM certifications are preferred.
