Your mission

 Being an ESS Key Account Manager is an exciting task, since you are the expert that our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their requirements; therefore, these are your most important tasks:
  • Develop and manage ESS clients from Finland
  • Manage overall sales of ESS projects in Finland and cross-regionally
  •  Collect the client’s requirements and coordinate cross-functional activities with technical and service teams
  •  Analyze our main competitor’s solution, price, market strategies, etc.
  •  Attend national and international fairs and congresses
  •  Provide periodic sales forecast, reports and market research
  •  Achieve yearly sales targets and ensure local market share
  • Manage all supplementary activities associated with sales, and adapt to the evolving demands of the role

Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind, it’s all about electrical equipment, that’s the reason why you need to have:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent. Affinity to electrical engineering.
  • Several years of working experience in technical sales, business development, project development or project management, preferably in the solar or energy storage industry. Work experience in energy storage or with an inverter or PCS manufacturer would be a great benefit!
  • Good knowledge of energy storage, photovoltaics, inverters, and PCS in combination with a strong commercial sales background, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Finnish and English language skills are mandatory at least at C1 level. 
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on a regular basis (50%).
