The ESD Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electronic products are protected from electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. This includes developing and implementing ESD control procedures, testing products for ESD susceptibility, providing silicon calibration based on silicon results and providing design guidelines.
Our mission is to re-imagine silicon and create Risc-V based computing platforms that will transform the industry. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and passionate engineers in the world to create designs that push the envelope on performance, energy efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate ESD incidents and recommend corrective actions.
Test products for ESD susceptibility and provide silicon calibration results.
Conduct SERDES design ESD simulations and deliver margin analysis.
Develop and implement ESD control procedures for subsystems design.
Must be familiar with and have a comprehensive understanding of foundry PERC and sign-off criteria.
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of the challenges associated with in deep sub-micron process nodes (7nm and below).
Strong understanding of ESD device physics and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
