Equity Accounting

 Professional would be required to manage the stock-based compensation accounting, equity schedules, and related quarterly and annual financial reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, maintain compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements, and partner closely with the HR and Legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain stock-based compensation schedules, including option grants, RSUs, ESPP, and performance awards.
• Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting for all equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718 (Compensation – Stock Compensation).
• Manage and reconcile the equity roll-forward, including tracking of shares outstanding, exercises, cancellations, and forfeitures.
• Work with external platforms to maintain integrity of equity
• Partner with HR and Legal teams to validate grant data and ensure completeness and accuracy of equity
• Calculate and record monthly/quarterly journal entries, including SBC
• Ensure compliance with internal controls

Qualifications:

• MBA Finance / CPA (preferred)
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to equity or compensation
• Strong hold in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally and meet tight reporting deadlines
