The Equipment Operator will operate mobile equipment for moving raw materials and loading finished products while maintaining infrastructure for designated business units.

Position Summary
The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating mobile equipment while moving raw materials from train to stockpile and loading finished products. Additional responsibilities include maintaining roadways and loading areas for designated business units.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Using established procedures, perform equipment operations duties as directed
  • Starts, monitors and regulates equipment within the company guidelines and safety standards
  • Uses standard operating procedures to troubleshoot malfunctions or issues
  • Under direct supervision, adjust equipment to maximize production
  • In addition to the primary responsibilities outlined, the successful candidate may be expected to take on other tasks and assignments as required, including but not limited to duties outside the typical scope of the role to support overall team operations and organizational needs. Flexibility and adaptability to evolving job demands are essential.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1-year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
Physical Requirements and Conditions 
  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling machinery
