Objective:


Apply engineering principles during the design, construction and operation of current manufacturing equipment or new equipment development projects, to improve costs, reliability, functionality, maintenance and operation, and product quality.


Main responsabilities:


  • Design and develop new  manufacturing equipment, ensuring alignment with quality standards and company needs.
  • Perform validations of industrial equipment and software, ensuring their functionality and efficiency in the production process.
  • Update documentation and procedures related to current manufacturing equipment and new equipment development projects.
  • Support in the acquisition, evaluation, and purchase of equipment necessary for the production process, ensuring effective integration.
  • Provide technical support during the integration of research and development (R&D) products into the manufacturing process.
  • Coordinate and ensure the work performed by contracted companies, maintaining quality and safety standards in the work environment.


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering careers related to mechanics, electric, industrial maintenance, electromechanics, electronics or similar.
  • Knowledge and experience in automation (PLC, PID, VFD, HMI, etc.), pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, control and mechanical drawings, and process flowcharts.
  • Basic knowledge in the use of SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD, Excel, Minitab, Microsoft Word, Power Point.
  • 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, focused on the manufacture of medical devices, pharmaceutics, electronics, or high volume production.
  • B2 or equivalent English Level.
