Framestore's 2026 Launchpad Internship offers talented and creative individuals a chance to gain hands-on experience at one of Europe’s leading creative studios. Interns will learn through studio work, presentations, a personal project, and informal meetups while collaborating on real projects with experienced artists and technologists. Previous interns have contributed to shows like One Piece, Project Hail Mary & How to Train Your Dragon.

Working within the  Film and Episodic as an Environment Artist at Framestore, you’ll create and assemble models, textures, digital matte paintings, lighting, and projections to build photorealistic environments for rendering, often collaborating with specialist artists. You also troubleshoot and optimise CG scenes and work closely with Compositors to bring renders to life.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Houdini, Nuke, and Photoshop.

  • A strong understanding of the entire VFX process.

  • Good communication and organisational skills.

  • Creative problem-solving abilities.

  • An eye composition, colour and lighting

  • Comprehensive knowledge across multiple skills: modeling, texturing, lookdev, layout, scattering, lighting, and rendering.

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You must be entering the final year of your degree or have graduated in the past 12 months 

  • You must be a UK citizen or have a current resident, student or graduate VISA for the duration of the internship

  • You must be available from 6th July until 29th August 2026
