ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATORY ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze large environmental monitoring datasets from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Monitor ongoing data collection processes to ensure consistent and accurate data acquisition for future efforts
  • Identify and address data gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information, working to close these gaps proactively
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time insights into key metrics and performance indicators
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, concise reports that tell a meaningful narrative
  • Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to translate data insights into clear, easy-to-understand narratives for public consumption
  • Help design and implement public campaigns that provide information and address concerns in an interactive, engaging way
  • Contribute to the creation of public-facing dashboards, websites, or apps that provide timely, digestible updates in a user-friendly format
  • Serve as a key liaison between data teams, communications, and external stakeholders to ensure that all messaging is backed by reliable, insightful data
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership, public relations teams, and external partners regarding data findings

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics and statistical modeling
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex data insights in an accessible, public-friendly manner
  • Strong writing and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including marketing, communications, and leadership
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights
  • Creative thinker with a knack for developing interactive and engaging ways to share data
  • Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment, often with shifting priorities
  • Passionate about using data to influence positive public engagement and foster informed decision-making

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Cape Canaveral, Florida area
  • Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours or weekends when needed
  • Ability to travel to various locations included but not limited to; Florida, California, Texas
  • Ability to travel internationally if required
