For now, our team is on a hybrid work-from-home model. This position will report to our Norcross, Georgia office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As such, we are only able to consider candidates local to the Metro Atlanta Area.

USAN is seeking an enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our core Software Development team. As a team member, you would be primarily responsible for implementing / developing custom hosted IVR solutions, working with backend SQL and web-based applications as required. You will work on a small team in a highly collaborative way to create effective and innovative call center solutions for enterprise clients. You will have the opportunity to work in a diverse environment for the country’s best IVR development shop.



Duties

  • Translate customer requirements in the form of Visio call flow, into application code
  • Collaborate with Business Analyst and Quality Assurance team members
  • Perform problem resolution for existing applications
  • Make informed design and development decisions
  • Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues for feedback to senior management
  • Stay up-to-date on technology trends and best-practices



Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Excellent programming skills as demonstrated by some college level coursework or work experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team oriented and self-motivated
  • The ability to communicate ideas effectively, to listen to others’ ideas, and to collaborate to arrive at great solutions
  • Experience with Visual Studio, VSCode, or similar IDEs.
  • Hybrid role - must be in HQ - Norcross, GA Tuesdays and Thursdays



Preferred Qualifications

  • A firm understanding of programming languages such as C#, C++, or Java
  • Experience with ASP.NET web technologies
  • Experience working with HTML5 and Javascript
  • Experience using or programming Linux
  • Some experience with IVR applications
