We are looking for a driven Project Engineer with a focus on land development to join our civil engineering team. In this role, you will support and lead the technical design and coordination of site development projects for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This position involves working closely with project managers, clients, and local agencies to bring projects from concept through construction.
This role is fully onsite
Salary: $60-70k/yr
Responsibilities:
Prepare site civil engineering designs including grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and erosion control for land development projects.
Produce detailed construction documents, site plans, and technical specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Support project managers with the coordination of internal design teams and external consultants.
Conduct due diligence research, zoning/code reviews, and site feasibility studies.
Assist in preparing permit applications and support approvals from local, state, and federal agencies.
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and design stormwater systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Land development experience in classroom, internship or professional setting
