Entry-Level Gardener

We are hiring an Entry-Level Gardener in Cohasset, MA to join our growing landscaping and horticulture team. This full-time role is perfect for individuals eager to start a career in landscaping, plant care, and outdoor maintenance. The position involves hands-on work with seasonal plantings, container gardens, and general landscape upkeep across residential and commercial properties in Cohasset. Candidates should be motivated to learn, enjoy working outdoors, and be ready to grow within a supportive horticulture team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance including watering, weeding, mulching, and soil preparation.
• Support installation of seasonal plantings, flowers, shrubs, and container gardens throughout Cohasset.
• Perform basic pruning and general plant care under guidance from senior team members.
• Load, unload, and maintain landscaping tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Help prepare garden beds and outdoor spaces for planting projects.
• Observe and report plant health issues to senior gardeners or supervisors.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work sites in Cohasset.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or outdoor labor preferred.
• Strong interest in horticulture, plant care, and landscape maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions in Cohasset, MA.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive outdoor tasks.
• Willingness to learn from experienced team members and follow directions.
• Reliable transportation to local job sites; valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
