Enterprise Solution Architect (Life Sciences industry)

We are seeking a highly experienced solution architect with expertise in life sciences industry, real-world evidence (RWE), and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will bring strong capabilities in application development, data engineering, BI reporting, cloud (preferably AWS) along with hands-on experience in AI/ML-driven analytics. This role will architect scalable solutions across sales, claims, EHR, and marketing data, while actively contributing to proposal building, bid preparation, and client presentations for global life sciences clients.

Key Responsibilities

Data & BI Architecture

• Design and implement scalable data architectures for sales, claims, EHR, and marketing datasets.  
• Lead BI/reporting platforms setup (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, AWS QuickSight, etc.). 
• Ensure data integration, governance, and compliance with pharma regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP).

Cloud & Application Development 

• Architect and deploy cloud-native applications (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP exposure is a plus).
• Leverage AWS services (Glue, Redshift, S3, EMR, SageMaker, etc.) for ETL, analytics, and AI/ML use cases. 
• Enable real-world evidence (RWE) insights by integrating clinical, EHR, and claims data pipelines.

Life Sciences Partnerships

• Partner with life sciences clients to enable HCP 360, patient analytics, market access dashboards, and omnichannel insights.
• Translate commercial and medical strategies into scalable digital and AI-enabled solutions.
• Apply deep knowledge of IQVIA datasets, prescription data, formulary/claims data, and real-world evidence frameworks.

Pre-Sales & Proposal Leadership

• Build solution proposals, RFP responses, and bid preparation decks with strong storytelling.
• Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and solution presentations.
• Collaborate with business development teams to create winning proposals aligned with client pain points.
• Leadership & Collaboration o Mentor teams on best practices and modern architecture patterns
• Serve as a trusted advisor for senior stakeholders in pharma/biotech organizations.
• Drive innovation by integrating GenAI/advanced analytics into pharma data solutions.

Core & Technical Skills:

• 15+ years in data architecture, BI, cloud, and application development.  
• Hands-on expertise in cloud services (preferably AWS) for data/analytics.
• Strong experience in project related to life sciences industry. 
• Experience with various BI tools, cloud services, data integration tools.
• Application Development: Python, Java, or .NET for data-heavy applications.

Business & Pre-Sales Skills:

• Proposal development, bid preparation, and solution presentation.  
• Excellent communication skills to engage with C-level life sciences stakeholders.  
• Ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.

Domain Knowledge:  

• Strong understanding of life sciences commercial operations, RWE, and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with IQVIA, Symphony, and other commercial/RWE data providers.
