The Role
As a Enterprise Risk Analyst in our Second Line Risk team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining Modulr’s strong risk management culture across Europe.
This is a great opportunity for a mid-level professional who wants to deepen their experience in fintech risk management, work with industry experts, and contribute to a rapidly growing, regulated payments business.
What You’ll Do
- Support the day-to-day operation of our risk management framework and help embed risk awareness across first line teams.
- Identify, assess, and monitor risks, ensuring mitigation plans are fit for purpose.
- Analyse data from incidents and control testing to spot trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in risk governance forums, contributing analysis, insights, and constructive challenge.
- Track and report on risk remediation actions, escalating issues where necessary.
- Prepare high-quality risk reports and management information to inform decision-making.
- Promote a strong risk culture, acting as a trusted partner to teams across the business.
- Maintain awareness of the Dutch and EU regulatory landscape to support risk documentation and compliance.
- Contribute to broader second-line initiatives such as ad hoc reviews, audits, and regulatory requests.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in risk management, internal control within a regulated financial services or fintech environment.
- Solid understanding of risk management principles and how they apply to operational, technology, or regulatory risks.
- Exposure to payments, e-money, or financial infrastructure is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills — able to interpret data, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management — confident communicating with and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
