The Enterprise Engineer/Architect plays a critical role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure IT solutions that align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture Design: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and principles that guide the design of systems, solutions, and processes.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that optimize performance and meet organizational needs.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends that can enhance enterprise solutions, recommending strategies for their integration.
  • Integration Management: Oversee the integration of new solutions with existing systems, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture and solution documentation, including design specifications and implementation plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and business units to ensure that solutions adhere to architectural standards and meet enterprise objectives.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and architects, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives to improve processes, technologies, and organizational performance.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of professional experience assessing cloud services, migrating legacy and other systems to a cloud network, providing governance for cloud solutions, and other related activities. 
  • Experience working with major cloud provider(s) (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and in integrating them with on-premises cloud infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge with hands-on and proven experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions (e.g., storage, active directory, identity and access management, compute services, networking, containerization and orchestration, serverless computing, monitoring and logging, cybersecurity, infrastructure as code, Ansible, Linux, Windows, networking, firewalls, routing, cloud security, scripting, DevSecOps, relational databases, NoSQL databases).
  • This position is required to be designated as IAT II level with a T3 (for non-enterprise-level support) or a T5 (for enterprise-level support).
