Enterprise Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect with a proven track record of hands-on experience across all aspects of data management execution, governance, consumption, and strategy. The ideal candidate has evolved through the data landscape, starting from programming and IT management, advancing through database administration, BI and MDM activities, and progressing into reporting, analytics, and advanced analytics (AI/ML). This role requires a deep understanding of how data flows in modern information management from data creation, ingestion, and preparation to consumption as well as how data is governed and managed, including data quality, ownership, stewardship, and operations. In addition to technical leadership, the candidate will actively support RFP processes, create planned responses, and engage with customers to ensure alignment between proposed solutions and business needs.

Key Responsibilities  

Enterprise Data Architecture

• Design and maintain enterprise-level data architectures aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

Data Lifecycle Expertise

• Apply end-to-end knowledge of data creation, ingestion, preparation, governance, and consumption to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Data Modeling & Integration

• Develop optimized data models and lead integration strategies across multiple systems and platforms.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance frameworks across the organization.

Collaboration

• Partner with business stakeholders, engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions.

Cloud & Analytics Leadership

• Drive adoption of cloud data platforms and modern analytics technologies.

RFP & Pre-Sales Support

• Contribute to RFP responses by preparing robust technical solution proposals.
• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to craft accurate and compelling responses.
• Present architectural choices to customers, addressing technical questions and demonstrating solution value.

Must-Have Skills

• SAP data architecture and enterprise system integration
• Data visualization and BI tools (Tableau or similar)
• Advanced SQL design, complex query writing, and performance tuning
• Enterprise Data Architecture design for large-scale ecosystems
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data security
• Excellent communication skills, including customer-facing interactions and RFP support

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with ETL tools and data pipeline development
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Background in data strategy, BI, data governance, and pre-sales support
