At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance.
Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.
Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.
Your job is to close enterprise deals. You are a natural hunter and skilled at guiding complex deals across the finish line. You show up as a calm, credible expert, but you’re relentless about progress and outcomes. You know how to bring the right people in at the right time, and how to keep things moving.
The mission of this role is to close enterprise customers and establish Deepgram as the default voice AI platform for the restaurant industry.
This role is based in San Francisco, where many of our customers and partners are located. Being close to them helps us move quickly and stay connected to their needs.

Relentless follow-through: Drive momentum, unblock stalled deals, and keep pressure on timelines without burning relationships.
Deal obsession: Deep personal satisfaction from getting signatures, beating timelines, and winning competitive situations.
Proven enterprise closer: Demonstrated track record of closing large, complex enterprise deals with multiple decision-makers.
Executive presence: Comfortable sitting across from CXOs as a trusted expert—clear, fair, and commercially sharp.
Stakeholder navigation: Able to manage legal, procurement, IT, operations, and executives without losing deal control.
High slope: Learns fast, adapts quickly, and stays effective in ambiguity without needing constant structure.
