Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit an Engineering Team Leader (2nd shift) to join our Engineering team in our Pallini premises

As an Engineering Team Leader, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of the equipment needed in the production and packaging process.

Requirements

What you will do:

  • Coordinate factory machine maintenance according to the maintenance schedule and ensure that all maintenance records are properly kept
  • Lead and coordinate a team of technicians in daily tasks such as format changes, maintenance activities and day-to-day troubleshooting
  • Propose and implement improvements to enhance the operation and efficiency of the factory’s mechanical equipment
  • Maintain and regularly update the spare parts inventory
  • Update on maintenance progress and any issues that may arise

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum a BSc Degree in Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar role
