Title: Engineering Team Lead

Reports To: VP, Engineering

Job Summary - Engineering Team Lead - CDP / DMP

In this role a candidate will lead their full stack development team in both a technical and managerial capacity; with the time split at 70% technical and 30% management/leadership support tasks. This role will work in an AWS developing and maintaining a multi-tenant CDP and CLM system, built primarily on PHP/Laravel with an emphasis on continuous delivery, safety and correctness.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a full stack development team, monitor team performance and unblock team members as needed.
• Provide mentorship and take a genuine interest in the success and professional development of your team.
• Passionately architect, code, and advocate for scalability, reliability, maintainability and reusability.
• Take accountability for all aspects of the Company's software owned by your team.
• Help develop and refine processes to enhance quality and productivity for the team including best practices, testing and code reviews.
• Working closely with product owners, lead the development of product roadmaps and facilitate team meetings for agile development processes.
• Assist in the definition, development and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
• Cooperate with the QA team to define test cases, metrics and resolution guidelines.
• Cooperate with other engineering teams to facilitate design, testing, and implementation of cross-cutting projects.
• Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Prioritize management of technical debt.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of recent & relevant development experience.
  • Backend: PHP, Laravel
  • Frontend: Vue
• Demonstrated senior-level knowledge with Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Service Oriented Architecture.
• Exceptional communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• A strong desire for continual personal, professional and technical improvement.

Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience with backend systems development using .NET 5.0+.
• Experience with frontend development using React and TypeScript.
• Cloud Native development experience: Kubernetes, Azure, AWS.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Experience with designing and implementing service-oriented architectures.

Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00
