About the Role

We’re looking for an Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) to support our Program Management team in executing the day-to-day operations that keep our development programs moving.

This is an execution-focused role working closely with Program Managers and EPMs. You’ll help ensure materials, parts, equipment, and site-related needs are procured, tracked, and delivered in alignment with program plans.

You’ll be given direction and context—and expected to run with it—owning the details and follow-through that keep complex efforts on track.

What You’ll Do

Execute Vendor Coordination & Procurement

  • Work with EPMs and engineers to ensure orders reflect program needs

  • Follow through on open items, ensuring timely responses and closure

Support Material Planning & Builds

  • Track material readiness against build schedules

  • Coordinate flow of materials and parts across multiple vendors (e.g., extrusion, coating, conversion)

  • Ensure materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there

  • Maintain clear tracking of critical materials across programs

Manage Shipping & Logistics

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments (materials, parts, equipment)

  • Handle shipping documentation, customs coordination, and delivery tracking

  • Troubleshoot delays and resolve logistics issues

Assist with Equipment & Tooling Deliveries

  • Support procurement and delivery of major equipment and tooling

  • Coordinate international shipments and site delivery logistics

  • Help ensure installation readiness

Track Spend & Systems

  • Execute purchasing through internal tools (e.g., Ramp)

  • Track spend against budgets and flag issues early

  • Maintain organized records of procurement, shipments, and vendor status

Support Facilities & Site Operations (as needed)

  • Assist with coordination of equipment deliveries, vendor visits, and site readiness activities

  • Support procurement and tracking of facilities-related materials and services

  • Execute logistics and coordination tasks in support of Facilities-led plans

How You’ll Work

  • Partner closely with Program Managers, EPMs, and Facilities leads, executing against defined plans and priorities

  • Take ownership of details and follow-through across procurement, logistics, and material tracking

  • Operate with a high degree of responsiveness and reliability in a fast-moving environment

  • Escalate risks early and keep stakeholders informed of status

Who You Are

  • 3–5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, program support, or similar roles (hardware/manufacturing preferred)

  • Experience working with vendors and managing procurement workflows

  • Familiarity with logistics and shipping (international experience is a plus)

  • Highly organized with strong follow-through across multiple parallel efforts

  • Comfortable operating in a support role with clear ownership of execution and follow-through

  • Takes direction well and translates it into organized, reliable action

  • Clear communicator with good judgment when working across teams and with vendors

Why This Role Matters

Growth Opportunity
As we scale, this role can grow into broader responsibilities across procurement, vendor management, and supply chain operations.

Additional Notes

  • This is an on-site role based in San Jose

  • You’ll work closely with engineering, facilities, finance, and leadership

  • Expect a hands-on, fast-moving environment with real ownership
