What You'll Do
Lead the technical direction for subscription management systems across backend, web, and mobile surfaces
Be accountable for delivery outcomes, system health, and operational reliability at scale
Shape the Account Management subdomain strategy and bring clarity to ownership boundaries across teams
Drive architectural simplification to improve scalability, maintainability, and developer experience
Influence technical direction across the Freemium Funnel domain through strong cross-team collaboration
Build and grow a high-performing engineering team grounded in accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform sustainability and evolution
Who You Are
You have experience leading teams that own complex, multi-surface platform systems across backend, web, and mobile
You define and communicate clear technical direction, articulating trade-offs at a strategic level
You bring strong architectural judgment and systems thinking to complex problem spaces
You operate effectively in ambiguous environments and create clarity across overlapping domains
You build empowered engineering teams and foster an environment where people can grow and take ownership
You care deeply about system quality, scalability, and operational excellence
You balance near-term execution with long-term architectural integrity

This role is based in New York
We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
The United States base range for this position is 164,448–234,926 USD, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six-month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, paid flexible holidays, and paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
