We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team and lead various projects across several teams to help create processes and execute strategies to ensure projects are developed in a timely manner.
Your primary responsibility is people support and ensuring that they are growing as engineers, doing valuable work, and generally having a great time at Softeta.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and serve an effective team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and career development;
- Bridge the gap between engineering and business stakeholders;
- Identify the capabilities of each team member and allocate them to their a best-match project;
- Drive the recruitment process;
- Develop a healthy, collaborative engineering culture;
- Contribute to the company’s strategy and growth.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role;
- Knowledge of modern web technologies and a deep understanding of the software development process;
- Experience leading and successfully delivering large and complex technical projects;
- A proven history of developing connections and influencing both internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and C-level executives.
- Strong people management and leadership skills;
- Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management team members.
