Join us as an Engineering Manager in Bengaluru, where you’ll lead talented Software Engineers building products that scale. We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader with strong people management skills and experience in high-growth, product-led environments.

Requirements

We are looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong product and technical mindset—someone who has led high-performing teams in GCCs, e-commerce, or product-driven companies. You will drive end-to-end delivery across multiple domains, collaborating closely with foundations, security, and data teams, while mentoring your team to grow technically and professionally.

What you'll do

• Drive product and technical strategy: Co-define the technical vision for your domain, making architectural and engineering decisions that align with business objectives.
• Own delivery end-to-end: Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-impact, customer-focused outcomes.
• Build scalable, resilient systems: Ensure the platform supports millions of users globally with high availability, security, and performance.
• Design future-ready architecture: Lead the development of cloud-agnostic, distributed, and microservices-based systems built to scale.
• Integrate advanced capabilities: Accelerate innovation by embedding AI/ML into core systems, such as recommendation engines, demand forecasting, and real-time decisioning.
• Stay technically hands-on: Contribute code, review designs, and maintain engineering best practices while keeping the team ahead of emerging technologies.
• Lead and grow a high-performing team: Inspire a team of 8–10 engineers through hands-on coaching and mentoring.

What you'll bring to the team

• 8+ years in software engineering with hands-on experience building distributed, cloud-native systems.
• Experience leading engineering teams of 8+ people in high performance environments.
• Proven experience scaling platforms, products, or services.
• Hands-on expertise designing and building microservices and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Strong coding proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or .NET, with active involvement in engineering deliverables.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure and tools: Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across product, systems design, security, and data teams.
• Experience in GCCs, e-commerce, or product companies is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
