About the job:

We are looking for an Engineering Manager. to provide technical leadership and set architectural direction for large-scale distributed systems, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals. Lead and develop engineering teams, drive delivery execution, and act as the bridge between technical and business stakeholders in a remote environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend experience with Java & Spring Boot
• Strong experience in designing and operating distributed systems
• Solid system design expertise
• Proven people leadership and team management experience
• Strong business and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in high-ambiguity, remote environments
• Time zone flexibility for global collaboration

Nice to Have:

• Experience balancing hands-on technical involvement with people leadership
• Familiarity with agile delivery at scale
• Experience in environments with high ambiguity and evolving priorities
