The mission of the Platform Product Group engineers is to build a trusted, scalable and compliant platform to operate with speed, efficiency and quality. Our teams build and maintain the platforms critical to the existence of Coinbase. There are many teams that make up this group which include Product Foundations (i.e. Identity, Payment, Risk, Proofing & Regulatory, Finhub), Machine Learning, Customer Experience, and Infrastructure.
A little about the current FinHub organization: we’re a tight-knit group of builders with expertise across various technologies (Go, React, MongoDB and Databricks)& immense domain expertise in the accounting space. We #liveCrypto. We care deeply about our tools & engineering practices - we are building APIs using Golang and gRPC. These are powered by ETL pipelines running on Apache Spark and Hive. Our frontend system is built on React.
This is where you come in - we’re hiring an engineering leader to drive our Accounting platform efforts, with a primary focus on building a platform that will act as the golden source of truth for accounting and financial information.. You’ll work with our technical engineering leaders to create the multi-year roadmap for making engineering & platform development at Coinbase a joy. To help drive this roadmap, you’ll embed with our product teams and listen to their customer needs, working together to accelerate their efforts. If you’re passionate about the crypto economy, hard engineering problems, and enabling product teams to build great user experiences, this is the place to be.
