Bombora is continually recognized by analyst firms as a leader in Intent data powering GTM data solutions. We are actively looking for a motivated, experienced Engineering Manager. In this role you will lead 2 teams of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining our product services, APIs, and UIs which are driven by large-scale data curated by our data science/machine learning and data engineering teams. You will provide oversight, guidance, and foster a high-performing culture focused on delivering reliable, scalable, and efficient solutions.
You will….
- Manage, mentor, organize, and grow two high-performing teams of software engineers.
- Architect, develop and maintain systems that ensure accurate, efficient, and scalable data delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, data engineering, and marketing, to define and implement strategies.
- Develop and enforce best practices for design to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.
- Work closely with partners to ensure smooth releases with clear success criteria and acceptance testing for iterative improvement.
- Drive improvements in the speed, accuracy, and scalability of our service/API infrastructure.
- Mentor and grow engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure that services meet stringent API SLAs for accuracy, timeliness, and availability.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in UX/UI and API access and product enablement.
- Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and team performance to deliver high-impact solutions on schedule.
You have…
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or frontend engineering roles
- 3+ years of experience in a management role
- 5+ years of C#/.NET experience
- 5+ years of frontend experience (React/Node.js preferred)
- Familiarity with AI tools and technology in relation to improving development and process efficiency.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.
- Great communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong curiosity and desire to learn new technologies, systems, and products with keen interest in continued learning and professional development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Experience in the ad-tech industry or programmatic advertising
- Experience with cloud platforms (ideally Google Cloud)
- Expertise in data warehousing, big data technologies, and high-volume data systems

Compensation Package
- The salary range for this position is $175,000- $195,000. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
