As an Engineering Manager - Mobile (all genders), you will take complete responsibility for your team and actively support them in their mission from product delivery to personal and professional growth. You'll play a vital role in shaping how millions experience our brand right in their pockets. Our tech stack is designed for performance and scale, Flutter and Dart are at the core of our Mobile App, while React, Redux, Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, and a range of AWS technologies (including Lambda, SQS, and SNS) power our Webshop platform.

Your role
Lead and grow a team of 6-8 Flutter engineers, fostering career development within a self-organized, agile environment
Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to align team goals with the company’s technical vision
Oversee the architecture, design, development, and operations of mobile applications, ensuring scalability and high performance
Mentor and support team members' growth in their careers and technical skills
Partner with the Product Owner to define and execute the app strategy, enhancing the mobile shopping experience
Liaising with other domain team to bring the product/features live
Drive engineering excellence by promoting best practices in test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, and agile methodologies
Lead agile practices to maximize team productivity and streamline workflows
Build and retain a diverse engineering team, representing the company at industry events and fostering a customer-focused, innovative culture
Your profile
9+ years of experience designing and developing scalable mobile products, with expertise in Flutter
2+ years in technical leadership and team management in mobile development.
In-depth knowledge of iOS/Android platform(s), software engineering best practices, and agile methodologies
Proven experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring mobile engineering teams in a collaborative, productive environment
Strong understanding of mobile development patterns, methodologies, and high-performance application delivery
Ability to balance technical and business requirements, building consensus across cross-functional teams
Passionate about the mobile app lifecycle, including testing, maintenance, CI/CD, and release management
Strong communication skills, with a focus on empathy, inclusivity, and inspiring team members
Nice to have
Experience with AWS technologies/services (or similar cloud solutions) to support scalable mobile solutions
