WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

We are looking for a strong Engineering Manager to lead our Hubs engineering team. Hubs is our content curation platform, enabling customers to build and publish content portals easily, deeply integrated with Box AI, all on top of Box’s best-in-class security and compliance posture. We have an ambitious roadmap with massive Hubs-driven adoption & expansion goals over the coming years. In this role, you will lead the engineering team building Hubs and deliver the epic, high-quality experience our customers can’t wait to get their hands on.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead a team of experienced engineers in the US
  • Plan, execute and deliver engineering projects using Agile methodology
  • Drive a high bar for quality in the work we deliver to our customers
  • Develop your team members via one-on-ones, career planning, and coaching discussions
  • Define team's objectives and key results (OKR) and ensure they are aligned with Box's business goals
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering Leaders, and cross functional stakeholders to create the team's roadmap and execution plan
  • Lead by example and follow Box values

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years experience as a software engineering manager owning high-scale production software applications
  • 5+ years experience building high-scale production software applications
  • Experience driving effective execution with agile processes in a highly dynamic environment
  • Able to build alignment and execute on new technical ideas
  • Act as an owner with a strong focus on quality and impact
  • Strong communicator, able to build a compelling vision for their team
