Engineering Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to take the reigns of our brand new engineering hub in Sofia, designing and building innovative products used by thousands of customers across Europe, the United States, and Australia.

Role:

The Engineering Manager will manage a team of 10 high-performing engineers, driving the successful delivery of innovative solutions while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be critical in guiding the team through the design, development, and deployment of scalable and robust systems that support mission-critical applications.

Key duties:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 10 engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Drive the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and project scope.
• Architect and implement scalable solutions, leveraging modern technologies and best practices.
• Promote engineering excellence by establishing coding standards, reviewing code, and encouraging knowledge sharing.
• Manage team performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular one-on-ones.
• Oversee technical troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues to minimize downtime.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical background in engineering, with hands-on experience in modern programming languages and frameworks (Golang or .Net would be beneficial). 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  
• Experience in agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
