About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team within our Customer Technology organization. This team builds and maintains the technology that powers our web and mobile customer experience, including marketplace functionality, acquisition and signup flows, and customer-facing platform integrations.

This role blends technical leadership, delivery ownership, and people management. You will work closely with product and design partners to translate business goals into well-executed engineering work while supporting and growing a high-performing team.

You will get to

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for building and maintaining customer-facing applications and services.
  • Partner with product and design to plan and deliver roadmap initiatives, ensuring clear scope, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Support engineers in designing scalable, maintainable solutions while promoting strong engineering practices.
  • Drive consistent, predictable delivery by removing blockers, managing technical risk, and maintaining team focus.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and career development support to engineers through regular 1:1s and performance conversations.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making alongside senior engineers and engineering leadership.
  • Ensure high standards for code quality, testing, and operational readiness across the team’s work.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.

Who we’re looking for

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, with experience building modern web applications or distributed systems.
  • 4+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience.
  • Strong technical foundation that enables effective collaboration on architecture and design decisions.
  • Experience partnering closely with product teams to deliver customer-facing features.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguity while maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for mentoring engineers and helping teams grow and succeed.
