Engineering Manager - Contract - Outside IR35
TLDR
This role requires a pragmatic engineering manager to lead a team, drive the international roadmap, and oversee delivery in a digital commerce environment.
We are looking for a pragmatic Engineering Manager who can quickly integrate with the team, provide leadership and delivery oversight, support engineers and technical leads, and help drive the International roadmap. Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate with strong engineering leadership credentials.
This role comes with 3 days per week on site in Central London.
Requirements
Key Requirements
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams within large scale digital or e commerce environments.
- Strong delivery leadership, stakeholder management, team development, and engineering governance experience.
- Technical background in front end engineering, with experience working in JavaScript, jQuery, and ECMAScript based ecosystems.
- Comfortable operating across engineering, product, and business teams to drive delivery and remove blockers.
- Experience leading distributed teams and working within agile delivery models.
Desirable
- Experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
- Retail or e commerce experience.
- Experience supporting international websites, platforms, or customer experiences.
