At Mixtiles, we create magical physical products that help people love their homes. With easyplant, we’ve reimagined what plant care can feel like. Smart hardware, self-watering systems, embedded sensors, efficient fulfillment, and a beautifully simple app come together to create a seamless experience.

The easyplant ecosystem spans software, hardware, mobile, logistics, AI, and commerce. We design the products, build the factory tools, ship the boxes, and write the code. Nearly every part of the customer experience is owned in-house, and we see software as a core advantage.

Why this role matters

We’re looking for an engineering leader who is both hands-on and product-driven. Someone who thrives on ownership, loves the ambiguity of building something new, and wants to shape systems that create delight at scale.

You will lead the next chapter of easyplant’s tech evolution. This includes launching our next-generation product, easyplant 2.0 - a fully electronic, sensor-powered version of the self-watering system. easyplant 2.0 will give customers precise insight into water levels, light exposure, and humidity. It’s a true IoT product, blending mobile software with embedded hardware, firmware, and real-time data.

You’ll also lead the rebuild of our mobile experience, architect internal tools that support global fulfillment, and enable a network of manufacturing sites with no developers on site.

We use TypeScript, React/React Native, Node, Swift, Python, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS, and plenty of AI tooling—but we’re tech-agnostic when it comes to talent.
