We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead for our Digital Banking platform of the value stream Retail banking, which is used by more than 100 banks. This is a senior leadership position leading multiple team leaders in three countries and reporting directly to the Division Head.

Your Tasks

• As a member of the leadership team you lead and motivate the engineering team of the value stream retailbanking
• Collaborate closely with management, product management and design to drive technological innovation for the product and bespoke solutions
• Assure that our digital banking platform (consisting of web and mobile banking) remains state of the art and sets standards in terms of usability, integration capabilities and security
• Assure we meet high standards in quality, security and a best-in-class software development lifecycle
• Make long-term, strategic architecture decisions for our software product, taking into account not only technical but also commercial and organizational aspects
• Liaising with product partners to find the best integrations
• Advise our customers and prospects in pre-sales and during implementation
• You promote an agile way of thinking and working, innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration within the organization

Requirements

Your profile

• You hold a university degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
• You have several years of leadership experience of engineering teams in an agile product organization in a innovation-driven environment
• You have profound experience with the common architectural challenges in the development of mobile and web applications and integrating third-party software
• You are enthusiastic about technology, actively follow trends and are interested in the FinTech industry
• You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as experience in intercultural collaboration
• You recognize challenges early on and thrive in developing suitable solutions based on your experience and creative ideas
• You know how to motivate a team with your open personality, humor and ‘can-do’ attitude

Nice to have:

• You bring in-depth knowledge of industry standards in banking as well as experience in implementing IT security standards
