ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the configuration of engineering data to include engineering drawings, engineering change orders and Illustrated Part Breakdowns to ensure currency and accuracy.
  • Work closely with the customer engineering team in generating engineering drawings and engineering change orders.
  • Use computer aided design and engineering software to generate engineering drawings for inclusion in the customer drawing repository and JEDMICS.
  • Process engineering change orders and perform updates/modifications to existing engineering drawings.

Requirements

REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • SECRET Clearance or higher
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in configuration management with engineering drawings
  • Experience utilizing engineering drawing requirements and standards is required
  • Associate degree in a technical field is highly encouraged
  • SolidWorks AutoCad and ProEngineering experience is highly desired
  • Familiarity with DoD Engineering Change process and DoD configuration Control protocol
