This role offers the opportunity to lead multiple engineering teams responsible for critical internal systems and a high-impact security product. You will drive technical excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation across full-stack software services while developing engineering managers and shaping team culture. Your leadership will directly influence product roadmaps, performance standards, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and business teams. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in complex, distributed systems, fostering a fast-paced, globally distributed environment. You will guide teams from ideation to delivery, mentor engineers, and ensure the adoption of best practices across software development, operations, and system reliability.
Accountabilities:
Lead multiple engineering teams, from junior developers to senior engineers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Develop engineering managers to maintain strong culture, technical standards, and team health.
Set and implement performance goals, track progress, and ensure accountability across teams.
Oversee product development roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives and driving timely delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders, product users, and other leaders to ensure impactful solutions.
Hire and grow engineering talent while fostering a collaborative, innovative environment.
Advocate for best practices, process improvements, and engineering excellence throughout the teams.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing multiple or large teams of software engineers, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
Strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in Golang, Python, Java, or distributed systems.
Exceptional academic performance or a compelling narrative demonstrating technical rigor and problem-solving skills.
Professional written and verbal English communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
Result-oriented mindset with personal drive to meet commitments and exceed expectations.
Ability to travel internationally up to twice per year for company events.
Nice-to-have: experience in performance engineering, DevOps/SRE, or exposure to accounting, sales, or business operations.
