Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to work collaboratively with backend team to determine strategy and technical direction. Salary: $159,500 - $191,500 per year.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of professional experience in software development building APIs at scale, working with distributed production systems, and owning complex projects end-to-end while coordinating with other teams and communicating with internal stakeholders. Must also have the following: 1 year of professional experience working with message or event-based technology (including Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ, or SQS); 1 year of professional experience utilizing cloud-based technologies (including Kubernetes, AWS, Go web services, Postgres, Redis, or Kafka) to design and develop software applications; 1 year of professional experience performing backend software development.
