Our End User Technology Manager is the service owner for End User Technology (EUT) services. This involves the management of end-user devices, Microsoft 365 services, and unified communications platforms, ensuring the appropriate computing and collaboration tools are available and operational for our users. In this role you will lead ongoing operations and delivery of EUC hardware and software, endpoint security, collaboration spaces, auditoriums and ongoing maintenance of those tools and devices, in addition to providing relevant documentation and reporting to leadership.​

 

Within this position, your scope will cover:

 

  • Providing service ownership for end-to-end delivery and operations of End User Compute services for NEXTDC IT users, ensuring that IT services are delivered to a professional high-availability industry standard and agreed service levels.
  • Managing the day-to-day service delivery of defined IT services provided by both internal and external service providers
  • Leading and mentoring the team a high-performing service delivery team, supporting team members with career goals and talent development
  • Providing technical support for high-priority incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to business operations
  • Providing operational reporting and insights updates to technology leadership, including the management of data and reporting of the service and data flow into ServiceNow
  • Supporting Head of Technology Operations in budgeting and cost estimations; manage licensing and service costs
  • Managing vendor relationships and contracts for performance and compliance, fostering strong and high-performance partnerships

 

Your technical leadership will include:

  • Showcasing your knowledge of software packaging, patch management, and security compliance for the end-user environment
  • Demonstrating your understanding of client computing / hardware compatibility testing
  • Being proficient in endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, JAMF, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Neat centre, and remote desktop solutions (RDP)
  • Having familiarity with tools like Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Windows Imaging and Configuration Designer (ICD), and System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) for streamlined deployment and management. 
  • Proficiency in Office 365 environment and Active Directory
  • Knowledge of software packaging, patch management, and security compliance for the end-user environment
  • Understanding of client computing / hardware compatibility testing

 

  • 10+ years of experience in network and security within an IT environment or a similar role, with at least 5 years in a managerial or coaching role
  • Proven track record of leading a team to deliver against technical and business requirements
  • Relevant professional certifications in Microsoft (e.g. M365) and ITIL Service Management
  • Experience in managing high-availability end services to users and critical security operations, particularly within a data centre or similar IT-intensive environments
  • International business experience would be an advantage
